To support our strategy of growth and our continued commitment to be a leading player in the modern Civic City, we are inviting applications for the post of Clerk, commencing in early 2015 and working an average of 50 hours per month. The successful applicant, together with the Assistant Clerk, will be expected to play a representational role in supporting the objectives of the Company, together with fulfilling the activities of the Clerk’s Office.
The Clerk works closely with the Master, Wardens and Court to help implement the Company’s strategy. The Clerk’s Office is responsible for expertly managing the finances of the Company; liaising with the Membership; managing relationships with the City Livery; working with members to organise events; organising Court meetings; and producing related reports and communications. The Clerk is also required to accompany the Master at formal daytime and evening functions.

The 600th anniversary of the iconic battle of Agincourt is planned for 2015, through the staging of a series of events. These include a Banquet at Guildhall on 22 September 2015 and a service of commemoration on 29 October 2015 at Westminster Abbey, where Henry V lies. It was on that day in 1415 when the newly-elected Lord Mayor, Nicholas Wootton, Citizen & Draper, was due to go in great pomp to be sworn in at the Palace of Westminster. Instead, he and his aldermen, accompanied by a large crowd, “walked on foot like pilgrims” to Westminster Abbey to give thanks. Details of the Key Dates will follow: - these begin [at an unspecified date] in March, with a special showing of the film Henry V with historical commentary at the Institute of Historical Research. Management Consultants diagnostics of the Xmas Turkey industry: Why did the Turkey cross the road?? Deregulation of the turkey's side of the road was threatening its dominant position. The turkey was faced with significant challenges to create and develop the competencies required for the newly competitive market. WCoMC, in a partnering relationship with the client, helped the turkey by re-thinking the physical distribution strategy and implementation processes.
Using the Poultry Integration Model (PIM), WCoMC helped the turkey use its skills, methodologies, knowledge, capital and experience to align the turkey's people, processes and technology in support of its overall strategy within a Programme Management framework. WCoMC convened a diverse spectrum of road analysts and best turkeys along with consultants with deep skills in the transportation industry, to engage in a 2-day itinerary of meetings in order to leverage their personal knowledge capital - both tacit and explicit - and to enable them to synergise with each other in order to achieve the implicit goals of successfully architecting and implementing a value framework across the poultry industry.
The meeting was held in a park-like setting, built upon a consistent, clear and unified market message, and in alignment with the turkey's mission, vision and core values. This proved conducive towards the creation of a total business integration solution. WCoMC assisted the turkey to change and thereby become more acceptable to its core market .....
