Applications are invited for the 2014 Jon Moulton Doctoral Scholarship

Cass  has announced a new scholarship for advanced study.

The scholarship is awarded by the School in conjunction with the J.P.Moulton Charitable Foundation, advised by the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.

It is for Cass's four-year doctoral programme and offers support of £15,000 per year for the successful candidate.

The awarding committee will be chaired by Jon Moulton, the UK's leading Private Equity player, and Professor Cliff Oswick, Deputy Dean and Head of the Faculty of Management, with input from the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.

The committee will be particularly interested in research proposals that align with the theme:

"Achieving Transformational Change - integrating the needs of business and society".

This theme deliberately offers a broad canvas to accommodate a wide range of possible research, drawing on many management disciplines. The adoption of a synthesising approach to the research topic will be particularly attractive.

Recognising the link with the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, of which Jon Moulton is an Honorary Liveryman, the successful candidate will be expected to share the research findings every six months with an experienced audience of Worshipful Company of Management Consultants members.

He or she will also be invited to participate in selected Worshipful Company of Management Consultants activities during their tenure.
