Shoptalk - 12 February 2020

Registration is closed for this event
Informal meetings for members and potential members to meet over a drink and hear presentations from colleagues on their professional activities and matters of mutual interest.  This event is open both to Company Members and Non-Members to book.

Led by Steve Joyce and Chris Wilson

Two members who have recently joined the Company will lead the discussion by talking about their experience and current interests in management consulting:

  • Steve Joyce is a procurement specialist with an in-depth knowledge of the European Consultancy market, having led procurement transformation programmes for major companies in the UK and Europe. He has also written on how to procure management consulting services and how to optimise the value gained from expenditure on consultants.
  • Chris Wilson is a specialist in reward management with both a corporate and a consulting background, and he has written several best practice guides on the subject.  With a background in psychology, his current interests lie in the implications of reward strategies on organisational culture and individual behaviour.

Come and listen to what Steve and Chris have to say, then join in a discussion of ideas and opportunities amongst those present. There will be drinks available to facilitate the discussion and a buffet to provide some sustenance. Members can click on this Participant Listing link to see who has booked.

Please note that this event is "cash on the door" to cover the cost of the buffet. Please bring £10 per person.
