On Tuesday 15th July there is a Masters special event with an afternoon tea and Musical spectacular   This event is open both to Company Members and Non-Members to book.  The || Register Now || button will be visible to the right when bookings can be made

  
​Beating Retreat - Masters special event

On Tuesday 15th July 2025 the Household Division is holding the Beating Retreat event at Horse Guards Parade, London.

The Massed Bands of the Household Division, including the Duchess of Edinburgh’s String Orchestra, the State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry, and the Pipes and Drums will once again combine in a display of musical mastery and marching might.

There is also the opportunity to relax prior to the event with an afternoon tea at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall beforehand, to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the company of fellow members prior to heading off for the short walk to Horse Guards.

The timings for the day will be:

16:00 Arrive at the RAC Pall Mall

16:30 Afternoon tea

18:45 Head over to Horse Guards to take our seats

20:45 Event finishes, making your own way home.

Cost of the afternoon

Cost for the Afternoon Tea and tickets for the event are:

Beating the retreat,  Afternoon tea and a glass of champagne - £ 85.00

Additional drinks – to be purchased yourselves.

Please note that:

This is an uncovered outdoor event. Please be aware of the weather. Umbrellas are not to be used during the performance.

There is no dress code, please dress according to the weather.

There are limited toilet facilities at Horse Guards.
