Tasting the Company Wine Cellar

A wonderful fellowship opportunity to get together and sample some lovely and interesting wines from the Company cellar - and for those participating in the WCoMC Wine Course we will celebrate your success with a Certificate of Completion. This event is open to Company Members (and their guests) or Members of other Companies, to book.   The || Register Now || button will be visible to the right when bookings can be made

 

Tasting The Company Cellar - It's Back!

Our Company Cellar started in 2013 and we have managed for the Company to buy, cellar and serve excellent wines at way below today’s prices. After last year's successful Tasting the Company Cellar we are hosting this evening to provide another unique opportunity for Members to try the fantastic wines we have in our cellar. You will be able to share your experience of the wines you have tasted in fellowship with other Company Members and their guests.  And for those who have participated in our Wine Course we will be recognising its successful conclusion with a completion certificate.

During the event, you will be invited to taste seven wines, each with matched canapés. A member of the Wine Club will act as host for each of the wines:

  • A 'vertical tasting' of a special red:
    2016 Château de Bruignac Bordeaux Supérieur
    2020 Château de Bruignac Bordeaux Supérieur
    2022 Château de Bruignac Bordeaux Supérieur
     
  • Two bottlings of a compelling white:
    2022 Miamup Chardonnay, Howard Park, Margaret River, Western Australia
    -- Australia botting
    -- U.K. bottling
    Are they the same or are they different - you be the judge!
     
  • Rioja - the 2021 Relevo Valcuerna:
    The Wine Committee has just imported this wine from Rioja for the Company Cellar- now is your chance to try this special Rioja which is not available in the UK.

    If you've never tried a Premier Cru Chablis, now is the time to do so. You are in for a fantastic experience, a special wine also featured in our raffle and our silent auction.
     

During the evening you can participate in:

  • Four different tables with a fascinating guided tasting experience
  • the raffle: three prizes awarding bottles of our 2019 Chablis Premier Cru Côte de Léchet Sébastien Dampt
  • a silent auction: the four highest bidders will each receive a case of our 2019 Chablis Premier Cru Côte de Léchet Sébastien Dampt
  • the opportunity to circulate and talk to Members over a glass or two of the remaining wine
  • giving feedback to the Wine Committee of the wines you enjoy and those you don’t
