Your Master's Voice:

A lot of effort by many this month has been focussed on the Celebration Dinner on Thursday 5th July - just a few spaces left, if you book today! [See below in "Notices" for last-minute booking link,]

We have more than half of the Past Masters and Masters attending and several other founders and influencers in our development . I am really looking forward to having a great evening. The forecast is 'Dry' but that is only the weather!

Speakers will be Andrew Parmley - Lord Mayor of London 2016-2017 and Matt Candy - Global Leader of IBM iX

But a bit more on the effort made to ensure that you can enjoy a memorable event.   In no particular order:
Liveryman David Wreford has been producing badges for past mistresses;
Liveryman Ewan Fraser & Past Masters Sankey & Llewellyn have produced 'highlights of 25 years' for inclusion in the commemorative programme;
Liveryman Satjit Singh has acquired commemorative silver (details at the dinner);

A team of six are involved in organising the unique sabrage of champagne for the reception;

Liveryman  Simon Chapman is ensuring that the Drums we sponsored will sound;

Court Assistant Kanan  Barot has organised that the winning sea cadets will receive certificates;

PM Alan Broomhead, PM Patrick Chapman, PM Barrie Collins, First Warden John Corneille, Third Warden Bob Harris and Liveryman John Blackburn are all making critical contributions;

Julie Fox, our Clerk is working flat out to make it all come together (as well as preparing to lead the singing).

Be there if you can.......,

David

Known for being tremendously inspirational, Management Consultants are also much admired for their pragmatism...

The Devil tells a Consultant: "OK, I can make you richer, more successful and more famous than any Consultant alive. In fact, I can make you the greatest Consultant that ever walked the planet."

"Marvelous" says the Consultant, "What do I have to do in return?"

The Devil smiles, "Well, of course you have to give me your soul," he says, "but you also have to give me the souls of your children, the souls of your children's children and, just for good measure, you have to give me the souls of all your descendants throughout eternity."

"Wait a minute," the Consultant says cautiously, "What's the catch?" ....
