Cass ETHOS Debate - 22nd October
Is "Corporate Governance" past its Sell-by Date?

This Debate is the third in the series of ETHOS debates supported by WCoMC and will be held in the Cass Executive Education facility at 200 Aldersgate Street (2nd floor). ETHOS, the Centre for Responsible Enterprise at Cass Business School, invites you to join the debate on the merits of corporate governance with Professors Hugh Willmott and Bob Garratt leading. Stefan Stern, the FT columnist, will be in the chair.

Doors will open at 5.30pm for 6.00pm. There will be a drinks reception at the close to encourage continuing discussion and debate. There is no charge for WCoMC Members.

The WCoMC Faith Group Debate - 16th November
What does "Religious Freedom" mean? 

This event is again organised jointly with the St Ethelburga’s Centre and will be held at their centre in Bishopsgate. The Faith Group is very fortunate to have Baroness Cox of HART and Benedict Rogers of CSW as their speakers and Sarah Snyder of the Cambridge Inter-faith Programme, who will chair the evening.

Doors will be open from 6 pm for wine and other refreshments and the evening will commence at 6.30pm (finishing between 8.00 and 8.30pm). There is a modest charge of £15 (student concession £9).

The Master's Reception - 19th November
Come and meet the new Master and welcome new members

Come to the Guildhall at 6.30pm to meet David Peregrine-Jones in an informal setting. The reception will begin with an Admissions Ceremony. Booking opens shortly.

600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt - 29th October

At noon on 29th October at Westminster Abbey a Service to Commemorate the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt will be held. Do join the Master and Clerks of the several Livery Companies who will process before the service. To reserve your tickets on line visit www.agincourt600.com

Lord Mayor's Show - 14th November

Join our marchers and the Sea Cadets for this celebration of the new Lord Mayor's year. The Show parade is a tradition going back to the 16th century - we are now celebrating the 800th year! Celebration of Music (Previously The Festival of St Cecilia)
18th November - 11am

The annual celebration (this year at St Paul's) of music organised by the charity, Help Musicians UK. The three choirs of St Paul's, Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey combine. The theme is A Legacy to Music and will feature a specially commissioned anthem by Matthew Martin. There is a traditional Livery Procession before and after the service.

WCoMC Carol Service and Christmas Lunch - 7th December

At the Celebration Dinner in July, the Company was invited to join the Worshipful Company of Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Blenders for a Carol Service. We leapt at the opportunity to host such a traditional event particularly as it will be held at St Lawrence Jewry in Guildhall Yard. The Carol Service will be preceded by the Company's Christmas Lunch at Ironmongers' Hall.

Red Cross Christmas Market - 30th November to 1st December

The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor and The Lady Mayoress of London will once again open The City of London’s original Christmas Market at the historic Guildhall on the 30 November 2015, in aid of the British Red Cross. Over two days the City will welcome over 4000 visitors to the Market where they can enjoy shopping, entertainment, food and drink, art, workshops, fashion shows and much more. Tickets are now on sale at: www.redcross.org.uk/market.
