Education Supper and Admissions Ceremony - 14th May - HQS Wellington
Governments of whatever political persuasion are ‘organisations’ that are bigger more complex and more important than most, but organisations nonetheless. Ed Straw a management consultant and brother of long serving Labour cabinet minister Jack, who has worked on a series of organisational reviews for the Labour party since the 1990s, will be our guest speaker at the Education Supper on May 14th to be held aboard HQS Wellington.
In his book, Stand and Deliver: A Design for Successful Government, he stresses that government doesn't have to be bad and will not improve until we understand that the present system is what stands in the way.
Join us for a provocative and stimulating evening when Ed Straw will encourage Management Consultants to play their part in challenging the status quo, breaking the cycle and supporting this most critical organisational change.
