​Review of the Company's Charitable Fund

An opportunity to contribute your ideas

The Trustees of the Charitable Fund have arranged this open evening at which the recommendations of the recent Review of the Charitable Fund will be outlined and questions invited.

During the evening, the Chair of Trustees David Peregrine-Jones along with Steve Cant and Geoff Berridge who undertook the review will lead the discussion which will include:

• A reminder of the role of the Fund and its major achievements
• Starting a process to achieve better communication with Members about what initiatives the Fund should support
• Seeking the interest and commitment of two younger Members who would like to get involved with the Fund and its beneficiaries - perhaps with the aim of becoming Trustees in due course.

A key recommendation in the review was that: "The trustee group should be strengthened by the addition of younger members from diverse backgrounds. In the short term the Fund should consider co-opting Members who are both active in the world of philanthropy and younger than the present group of Trustees".  In other words, we are looking for volunteers.
