Mentoring Forum

21st November 2025: Please note that our website is now "frozen", preparing for migration in December.
All our content can be read as normal. Events can continue to be booked as usual.

If you have any queries, please email us at
webadmin@wcomc.org.  Thank you

This is a forum for those who have been involved in pro bono mentoring engagements and for those who are interested and would like to hear what is involved before they volunteer.

WCoMC Mentoring Forum

Note location has reverted to The Artillery Arms

Contact Bob Harris on 07802-406658 if you wish to come.

Our aim for the evening is to share experiences of mentoring. As peers from diverse backgrounds and practicing in different disciplines, we all have something to offer to colleagues from our varying areas of professional expertise. We have all nurtured and supported younger talent without necessarily calling it mentoring.

The agenda will include contributions on “What worked” and “What didn’t work”, together with tools, tips, templates and mentoring models to help us to “do it differently”.

Please bring your own experiences to discuss.

There will also be scope for discussion about our focus (currently mainly on senior team members in not-for-profit entities); our delivery (currently mainly face-to-face); our clients (currently almost exclusively one-to-one) and other matters that those attending think important.

A buffet will be served at 6pm - please bring £15 in cash.

Dress code is Business Casual.
