The Grand Prix is now in its third year, raising funds for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and giving much pleasure to many members and their families. The Glovers' Company is once again organising the event on behalf of the Lord Mayor and WCoMC is keen, once again, to support this worthy and enjoyable challenge and yet again put forward a team!

We are fielding drivers of all abilities from amongst our Officers, Court, Liverymen and Freemen, their families and friends, to take turns and participate in this "endurance" contest. The event runs between 12:00noon and 6:00pm giving all participants opportunities for practice before qualifying and then taking part in the two-hour relay Grand Prix.

​We hope that the wider community of our Company will generously sponsor, and raise sponsorship for, our participation as a team or that of individual volunteer drivers.

Supporters and spectators are encouraged to attend. Our drivers' performancea are likely to provide plenty of opportunity to exercise all our critical appraisal, mentoring and coaching skills from the relative safety of the club-house and viewing areas.

With the clock rapidly running down to 18th June, please register your involvement swiftly. It would be great to have a solid Company presence again at this inter-Livery event, as in the two previous years.

Please note that this event is "cash on the door"; donations of £20 per head are requested to cover the venue and food. Dress code is "Summer Smart Casual"
