New angles on strategic sustainable fundraising

We want the evening to be a chance for members to discuss the challenges of income generation with those "in the front line" and then have a working session to see how possibly to help clients with real fundraising challenges.

Our guests are Rebecca Maynard from StreetVet and fellow member Natasha Roe of RedPencil. Both have been in the front line of raising income for different charities. Becky is currently a Trustee with our client StreetVet. By coincidence, she was with ShelterBox when we were helping the Venture Partnership Foundation assess requests for funding and we provided some ProBono support to them in the aftermath of the Haiti disaster in 2009. Natasha set up her consultancy firm some 15 years ago, focusing on income, communications and strategy. Alongside her own work, she has helped a number of our ProBono Clients and will be sharing this experience with us. (Natasha has kindly stepped in for Annabelle Risdon of Give as you Live, who cannot now join us – but will in the future!)

We will complement Becky and Natasha's practical experience with a discussion around possible 'income generation methodologies' and 'strategy planning methodologies' that we have at our disposal with the aim of providing a background context to this whole subject area.

We will then break into small working groups to answer the simple question: "what would make you give....." in relation to real client situations.

All this will be preceded by a welcoming drink and concluded with further drinks and a finger buffet.

Members can click on this Participant Listing link to see who has booked.
