Summer "Master Mentoring" Workshop
Master Mentoring Workshop - EVENT POSTPONED
WCoMC is unique in its position within the Livery - our ProBono Mentoring and Consultancy sets us apart. However, our members are typically consultants at heart and many have never been in the role of mentor. Many years ago we developed a short learning programme to explain and practice the techniques. Over the last two years we updated this programme to incorporate the latest theories, tools and techniques, resulting in this Master Mentoring Workshop.
So this is the chance for members to find out about mentoring, polish their skills through practice opportunities and pick up the latest tips from our resident experts David Glassman and Nanette Young. (Please contact either of them by email if you have any questions about the workshop.)
The workshop will cover some of the conceptual aspects of mentoring and coaching, together with the opportunity to share experiences and mentoring templates, and to enhance your skills through role plays. Our aim is that we will build our pool of trained, experienced members, those who have attended one of our workshops. We will prioritise these members when we resource client requests for mentors. In particular this workshop will help all of us in our efforts to "Give and Gain" - giving something back to the NonProfit Sector.
Members and registered Event Account Holders can click on this Participant Listing link to see who has booked.
Please note that this event is "cash on the door" to cover the venue and sandwich lunch. Please bring £35 per person. The workshop will be held in room 3003 at Cass Business School.
