Our Annual Church Service 2018
Annual Service of Celebration, Dedication and Thanksgiving
St James Garlickhythe is the Company’s church in Garlick Hill, very close to the Company’s offices. It is a unique 17th century City Church, and has been a sacred place since 1100AD. Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt St James in 1683 after the Great Fire to be full of light, since when it has become known as ‘Wren’s Lantern’.
The Annual Service will reflect on and celebrate the 25 years since the Company was founded, as well as more recent events in the last twelve months. It will be led by Father Tim Handley who is the resident priest at St James Garlickhythe with support from John Watson - the convenor of the Company's Faith Group.
No booking is required to attend this service and there is no charge, but there will be a collection during the service in aid of the church. The service will commence at 5pm, but we ask you to arrive at the church and be seated by 4.55pm
