Shoptalk - Improving Performance and Profitability in Professional Services
Shoptalk - Improving Performance and Profitability in Professional Services
Martin Blackburn joined us last year to talk about the future shape of management consultancy. We had a full house and through popular demand he is back. At this session Martin will continue the conversation introducing the theme of “improving performance and profitability” through employee engagement within the consulting and professional services firms.
Trust in the City is a key issue and Martin will look at the increasing focus upon trust – what it means, why it matters and crucially why an environment of trust can help an organisation to significantly outperform competitors.
Martin Blackburn is UK People Director for KPMG. A qualified accountant, he worked as an auditor with EY before becoming the HR Director for their London Office and then moving to the US Law Firm, Baker McKenzie as their UK HR Director. He has been with KPMG for 4 years.
Registration along with tea and coffee will be from 5.30pm with the lecture commencing promptly at 6pm. This will be followed by networking with wine and canapes from 7pm to 8pm.
This event is kindly hosted by KPMG at their Canary Wharf Offices and there will be no charge for attending. However, numbers are restricted and for security reasons attendees must register in advance in order to attend the event.
